Butterfelde office

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Butterfelde office was a small electoral Brandenburg or royal Prussian domain office that was formed in 1738 from the goods of the Küstriner fortress commander von Sack . At that time it belonged to the Königsberg district , later the district of Königsberg Nm. (Neumark) called. The non-contiguous administrative area is now north of the city of Moryń ( Powiat Gryfiński , West Pomeranian Voivodeship ) in Poland, on the other hand in the municipality of Oderaue , Barnim-Oderbruch Office in the Märkisch-Oderland district , Brandenburg. The official seat was in Butterfelde (today Przyjezierze ); In 1837 the Butterfelde Office was attached to the Zehden Office .

history

On June 2, 1738, the Treasury bought the goods of the Kolberg fortress commander Siegmund von Sack at an auction ; From these goods the sovereign office Butterfelde was formed with its seat in Butterfelde. The goods and thus also the official area were then east of the Oder in the Neumark. Due to the amelioration of the Oderbruch and the straightening of the course of the Oder, the former official area is now east and west of the Oder, and thus in Poland and the Federal Republic of Germany. In 1755, the Neu Königlich Reetz colony was established on the official territory. Around 1820 Altwustrow and the Vorwerk Klein Wubiser were assigned to the office.

Associated places

  • Butterfelde ( village and Vorwerk ), today Przyjezierze , Powiat Gryfiński , West Pomeranian Voivodeship . The place came into the possession of the family v. Bag.
  • Altreetz , now part of the Oderaue community. The place came into the possession of the family v. Bag. In 1809 the place was still jointly owned by the family v. Book .
  • Altreetz, Vorwerk , merged into Altreetz
  • New Royal Reetz . Adlig Reetz and Königlich Reetz merged in 1952 to form Neureetz . Today Neureetz is part of the municipality of Oderaue. The place was created in 1755 on the quarry area belonging to the official part of Altreetz. 1809 still at the Butterfelde office. 1820 lists the topographical-statistical overview of the government district of Frankfurt ad O. Neu Königlich Reetz under the domain office Wriezen.
  • Woltersdorf , today Mirowo . In the village, 36 Hufen originally belonged to the Lehnin monastery , which ceded this property to its filiation, the Chorin monastery, as early as 1260 . During the secularization , the choriner monastery property was mainly brought into the office of Chorin , while the two Neumark monastery villages Jädickendorf and Woltersdorf became part of the office of Zehden . On September 10, 1577, Elector Johann Georg left the Choriner share to v. Sack in exchange for Sack's share from Jädickendorf (today Godków , Powiat Gryfiński, West Pomeranian Voivodeship). On June 2, 1738, the elector bought the village for the Butterfelde office.
  • Klein Wubiser, farm and sheep farm , today Stare Objezierze , Powiat Gryfiński, West Pomeranian Voivodeship. Is still listed under the Neuenhagen office in 1809 , but belonged to the Butterfelde office in 1820. In 1840 Klein Wubiser was administered by the Zehden Rent Office.
  • Altwustrow , part of the municipality of Wustrow , a district of the Oderaue municipality. In 1818 the place belonged to the Butterfelde office, in 1840 it appears at the Zehden Rent Office.

According to Beck et al. (1964) the Butterfelde office was dissolved in 1839. However, in 1843 the handbook on the royal Prussian court and state for the year 1843 states: “The Rentamte Zehden is both the official and treasury administration of the cathedral. Official Butterfelde has been transferred ”. The Butterfelde domain office is still listed in the list of domain offices. Apparently the administration of the two offices had been merged, but the Butterfelde office still existed formally until at least 1865.
