The Bleyen office was a small electoral Brandenburg or royal Prussian domain office that was formed in 1739. At that time it belonged to the Königsberg district (Neumark). The former official area is now in the town of Kostrzyn nad Odrą ( Powiat Gryfiński , West Pomeranian Voivodeship ) in Poland, on the other hand in the municipality of Bleyen-Genschmar , Golzow in the district of Märkisch-Oderland , Brandenburg. The official seat was in Bleyen . The Bleyen office was dissolved between 1821 and 1824. The former official ownership is recorded in 1840 under the domain office Gorgast .

history

The Amt Bleyen was created in 1739 when the Amt Küstrin (also called Schlossamt Küstrin), to which Bleyen had previously belonged, was dissolved. The two (main) places Bleyen and Drewitz (today Drzewice) of the Bleyen office belonged to the Johanniterkommende Lietzen since the 15th century . The places then came to the Johanniterkommende Quartschen in the further course of the story. As early as 1540, Margrave Hans von Küstrin forced the Order of St. John to cede the Kommende Quartschen , and the Order of St. John received the office of Schivelbein for this . The majority of the Johanniterkommende Quartschen has now been converted into a sovereign office, the Quartschen office . In 1556 Johann von Küstrin moved in the Johanniterkommende Lietzen. In 1571 the Johanniter received the Kommende Lietzen back. However, Johann von Küstrin separated the two places Bleyen and Drewitz from the estate. He transferred Bleyen to the office or castle office of Küstrin , and Drewitz to the office of Neudamm . After the return of the Kommende Lietzen they did not come back to the Order of St. John.

Associated places

According to Bratring (1809) (status 1805) and the topographical-statistical overview of the administrative district of Frankfurth ad O. from 1820 (status 1818), the following places belonged to the Bleyen office.

  • Bleyen Amtssitzvorwerk, on the western side of the Oder, a domain official, four Büdner, brickworks, 682 acres of land
  • New Bleyen
  • Bleyen family houses
  • Drewitz (today Drzewice , district of the city of Kostrzyn nad Odrą / Küstrin, Lubusz Voivodeship , Poland), village and administrative shepherd, a Lehnschulze, 17 whole farmers, 12 Kossäts, nine Büdner, 29 residents, four linen weavers, brewery, tar oven, the Vorwerk has been dismantled ., 45 fire places and 415 residents.
  • Kietz near Küstrin, fishing village or suburb of Küstrin
  • Long suburb, suburb near Küstrin

"In mid-1822" the Bleyen office was dissolved. Also in the handbook on the royal Prussian court and state it is only listed until 1821 (1822 and 1823 not available), from 1824 Amt Bleyen is no longer listed in the Royal Prussian state calendar . The official area was transferred to the Gorgast Office and the Quartschen Office. The Vorwerk in Alt-Bleyen was sold on a long lease to the previous bailiff Lindenthal in 1822. According to the general address book of 1879, a certain Wendt was the owner of the manor in Alt-Bleyen. In 1850 it had a size of 851 acres , in 1879 Ellerholz stated the size as 209 ha. At that time, however, it did not have a manor status.
