history

The Minister of the Interior of the State of Brandenburg approved the creation of the Calau Office on July 9, 1992. July 21, 1992 was set as the date of establishment of the office. The office had its seat in the city of Calau and initially consisted of 13 communities in what was then Calau :

  1. Bolschwitz
  2. Buckow
  3. Bronkow
  4. Craupe
  5. Gollmitz
  6. Great Jehser
  7. Great Mehsow
  8. Pinching
  9. Mlode
  10. Saßleben
  11. Verkhov
  12. Zinnitz
  13. City of Calau

On December 31, 2001 the communities Buckow, Craupe, Gollmitz, Groß Jehser and Zinnitz were incorporated into the city of Calau. On April 26, 2002, the community of Bronkow received approval for the new community of Bronkow with the communities of Lipten and Lug , Altdöbern Office , on July 1, 2002. They wanted to move to Altdöbern. However, on June 12, 2002, the approval to form a new community in Bronkow was revoked. It was not until September 26, 2002 that the Ministry of the Interior approved the merger of the three municipalities and the change from the new municipality of Bronkow to the Altdöbern office, which only became legally effective on October 26, 2003.

On October 26, 2003, the municipalities of Bolschwitz, Groß-Mehßow, Kemmen, Mlode, Saßleben and Werchow were incorporated into the city of Calau by law. The office of Calau was dissolved, the city of Calau vacant. The office of Calau sued this change of area and lost the process.

Office Director

The last official director was Norwin Märkisch. He was also mayor of the city of Calau at the same time.
