Ander Barrenetxea Muguruza (born December 27, 2001 in San Sebastián ) is a Spanish football player . He has been playing for Real Sociedad in the Primera División since 2018 .

Career

Ander Barrenetxea started his career at Real Sociedad . In November 2018 he played for the third team for the first time. Barrenetxea made his professional debut a month later in the Primera División against Deportivo Alavés . On May 12, 2019, he scored his first competitive goal in professional football in a 3-1 home win against Real Madrid . At Real Sociedad, Barrenetxea has a contract that is valid until June 2025 with a release clause.
