Miguel Ángel Moyà Rumbo (born April 2, 1984 in Binissalem ) is a Spanish football player who has been under contract with Real Sociedad in the Primera División since 2018 .
Player career
Born in the Balearic Islands, Moyà has played for RCD Mallorca since he was a boy . At the island club from the first Spanish league, he played in the second team from 2001 to 2004, whose regular goalkeeper he was at the age of 19. In the 2004/05 season he finally made his debut in Spain's elite league and has since been a regular in goal for the Mallorcans. In 2009 he was signed by Valencia CF , where he quickly lost his regular place to César Sánchez and later Vicente Guaita .
Since a situation did not improve, he was awarded to league rivals Getafe FC for the 2011/12 season. At the Madrid suburban club, Moyà was a regular player and convinced with good performances, so that Getafe took advantage of an agreed purchase option at the end of the season and signed the goalkeeper until June 2016.
During the 2014 summer break, Moyà moved to Atlético Madrid for three years .
In early 2018, Real Sociedad signed him on a free transfer.
Moyà played in the Spanish U-21 national team .
