Anel Ahmedhodžić (born March 26, 1999 in Malmö ) is a Swedish - Bosnian football player . The central defender is under contract with Malmö FF and is a young Swedish national player.
Career
society
Anel Ahmedhodžić grew up in his native Malmö and joined the first division team Malmö FF during his childhood . In 2016 he moved to England to the Nottingham Forest Football School . On December 30, 2016, he came in the 1: 3 away game in the Football League Championship , the second highest English division, against Newcastle United for his only appearance for the professionals. In January 2019 Ahmedhodžić returned to Malmö to join his youth club, where he signed a contract until 2022. After Anel Ahmedhodžić only played a point game, he was awarded to Hobro IK in July 2019 in the Danish Super League . In Hobro in the north of Jutland Ahmedhodžić fought for a regular place and after half a year he returned to Malmö FF.
National team
Anel Ahmedhodžić played two games for the Swedish U15 national team in 2014 and ten games for the U16 team in 2015 as well as 14 appearances for the U17 team up to 2016, with which he also took part in the U17 European Championship in Azerbaijan in 2016 . Sweden reached the quarter-finals there, where the Scandinavians were eliminated by the Netherlands. At this tournament Anel Ahmedhodžić came to three inserts. After six appearances for the U18 team in 2017, he took part in the U19 European Championship in Georgia with the U19 national team in the same year . There, the Swedes were eliminated after the group stage and Ahmedhodžić was used in all three games. He was also there in the unsuccessful qualification for the European Championship finals in 2018 in neighboring Finland . In total, Anel Ahmedhodžić played eight games for the U19s. On March 22, 2019, he played his first game for the U21 team in a 2-0 friendly against Russia in Marbella, Spain .
