Anjanette Comer (born August 7, 1939 in Dawson , Texas ) is an American actress . She played the female lead in films like Death in Hollywood , Southwest to Sonora , $ 25,000 for a Man or San Sebastian in the 1960s .

life and career

Anjanette Comer was born in 1939 (other sources refer to 1942) in Dawson, Texas, to Rufus Franklin and Nola (Dell) Comer. As a teenager, she participated in basketball, cheerleading, and beauty pageants. After attending Baylor University in Waco and the University of Texas , Anjanette Comer came to California at the age of 18. There she studied acting for two years at the Pasadena Playhouse to prepare for a career as an actress.

At the beginning of the 1960s, she played her first smaller parts in well-known television series such as Heat Wave , Dr. Kildare or in western series like Smoking Colts and Bonanza .
