Anne-Claire Coudray (* 1. February 1977 in Rennes ) is a French television journalist and presenter .

Youth and private life

Anne-Claire Coudray was born in Rennes in 1977 . She spent part of her childhood in Locmariaquer ( Département Morbihan ), the birthplace of her maternal grandparents. Her father, Jean Coudray, was a psychologist and her mother was a French teacher. Anne-Claire Coudray attended the Catholic Lycée Saint-François-Xavier in Vannes and then the two-year literary preparatory classes at the Lycée Guist'hau in Nantes . She then completed the double degree with a bachelor's degree in literary studies and a master's in history at the University of Rennes 2 and also worked for Radio Campus Rennes .

Coudray lives in a couple relationship with businessman Nicolas Vix and gave birth to their daughter Amalia in July 2015.

Career

2000: beginning

After graduating from the École supérieure de journalisme de Lille in 2000, Coudray worked for the Internep agency in Lille, where she wrote for TF1 and Arte Info in France and abroad. She also shot some magazine programs for France 3 .

In May 2000, she joined TF1's news department . She initially worked in the Lille office before returning to Paris in 2004. She reported in particular on the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , the visit of Pope Benedict XVI. in France in September 2008, the 2008 presidential election in the United States and the military parade on July 14, 2009.

From 2009: on LCI and TF1

From June 2009 Coudray moderated the society program "TMC Reportages" on TMC , a channel of the TF1 group. In the summer of 2009 she became assistant presenter of the news programs on LCI , a channel of the group TF1. In 2010 she replaced Bénédicte Le Chatelier as the presenter of the LCI evening programs and of "LCI Soir" alongside Damien Givelet . In December 2010 she reported for TF1 and LCI on the 2010 presidential elections in Ivory Coast and their consequences between Laurent Gbagbo and Alassane Ouattara .

She also reported on the Dominique Strauss-Kahn case in May 2011 and on the wedding of Prince Albert II of Monaco in July 2011 . In July 2012, she became Claire Chazal's deputy presenter, hosting the newscasts Journal de 13 heures and Journal de 20 heures on TF1. In the fall of 2012, she reported on the 2012 presidential election as TF1's special rapporteur in the United States . In February 2013 she was sent to Gao , Mali , to report on the French Opération Serval .

From 2013 onwards, Coudray moderated the annual military parade on July 14th on TF1 with Gilles Bouleau , Jean-Claude Narcy (2013-2016), Louis Bodin and Denis Brogniart (2014-2016).

During her maternity leave in the summer of 2015, Coudray was replaced by LCI journalist Audrey Crespo-Mara in moderating the news programs from 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. on TF1 as well as the weekend magazine programs Grands Reportages and Reportages . However, as of September 18, 2015, she replaced Claire Chazal in moderating TF1's weekend newscast; on the same day she announced that Audrey Crespo-Mara would be her official assistant presenter.

After the terrorist attacks on November 13, 2015 in Paris , Coudray hosted the TF1 specials about the events, first on November 14, 2015 with Gilles Bouleau and the next day alone. Together with Gilles Bouleau, she also hosted the election evening programs of TF1 on the occasion of the regional elections in 2015 and the presidential election in 2017 .

In March 2017 she was the jury president of the Assises du journalisme .

On March 20, 2017, she moderated the debate between the five strongest candidates in the presidential election according to opinion polls: François Fillon , Benoît Hamon , Marine Le Pen , Emmanuel Macron and Jean-Luc Mélenchon . From April 10 to 20, 2017, she hosted the program Demain Président with Bouleau , which received a candidate for the presidential election for 20 minutes every day from 8:20 p.m. Between the two voting rounds, she also moderated the program Elysée 2017 with Bouleau , which received Marine Le Pen on April 25, 2017 and Emmanuel Macron on April 27, 2017 in prime time on TF1. On October 15, 2017, she interviewed President Emmanuel Macron for the first time with Bouleau and David Pujadas on the program Le grand entretien: Emmanuel Macron , which was broadcast on TF1 and LCI.
