Anthology is the title of a 2014 compilation album by the American band Dan Reed Network . With the songs Money and You can Leave Your hat on , it contains two cover versions of well-known titles by other artists. The album was funded with the help of a crowdfunding campaign.

The group Dan Reed Network had temporarily ended the joint career of its members on August 8, 1993 after an appearance at the London club The Garage . The musicians all turned to other projects and careers and did not get back together in a group at first. Except for occasional public appearances, e.g. B. by keyboardist Blake Sakamoto and drummer Dan Pred when the band was inducted into the Oregon Music Hall of Fame in 2007, the name Dan Reed Network was barely noticeable in public.
On December 31, 2012, the band played together for the first time since 1993. It should be a one-time appearance on the occasion of the group's 25th anniversary. In March 2013, after the release of his album Signal Fire , Dan Reed announced that the Dan Reed Network was planning another gig for October 2013 to take place in the UK. Dan Reed Network made a total of five appearances in Europe between October 10 and 19, 2013, two of them ( Mannheim and Hamburg ) in Germany. Numerous concerts were recorded during this tour, four of the titles recorded in Stockholm ( Sweden ) were used for anthology .
