The Kassel Labor Court , a labor court system , is one of the seven labor courts in Hessen .

Seat and District of the Court

The court has its seat in Kassel . This is now the only location of the court; the former court days in Hofgeismar , Korbach and Wabern were given up.

The Kassel Labor Court is locally responsible for legal disputes from the district court districts of Arolsen , Fritzlar , Kassel, Korbach , Melsungen and parts of the district court district of Eschwege (communities Großalmerode , Hessisch Lichtenau , Neu-Eichenberg , Bad Sooden-Allendorf and Witzenhausen ).

With the dissolution of the Bad Hersfeld Labor Court on December 31, 2011, responsibility for the places in the Werra-Meißner district that were previously looked after in Bad Hersfeld was transferred to the Kassel Labor Court.

Building and size

Until November 2016, the court was located in the city center on Ständeplatz. The postal address was: Ständeplatz 19, 34117 Kassel .

On December 1, 2016, the court moved to the premises of the former Federal Labor Court. The postal address is now: Heerstraße 6, 34119 Kassel .

The Kassel Labor Court has nine chambers .

Superior courts

The Hessian State Labor Court and the Federal Labor Court are superordinate to the Kassel Labor Court.
