Arnberg is a district of the Altomünster market in the Upper Bavarian district of Dachau . On May 1, 1978, the hamlet of Arnberg, which lies on a hill north of the Alto forest, came as a district from Thalhausen to Altomünster.
history
The first reliable mention of the place name can be found in an undated deed of donation to the Benedictine monastery Scheyern with "Arpenberge", which can be determined to be around 1228/31.
Around 1309/15 the hamlet “Ernperg”, 1405 “Erenberg”, and 1420 in the ducal Salbuch “Arnperg” is written.
