UGCA 290 = Arp 211 is an interacting pair of galaxies in the constellation Hounds . The galaxy pair is about 22 million light years away from the Milky Way . Halton Arp organized his catalog of unusual galaxies into groups according to purely morphological criteria. This galaxy belongs to the class galaxies with irregularities, absorption and resolution .
