NGC 3921 = Arp 224 is a lenticular Galaxy from the Hubble type (R ') SA (s) 0 / a in the constellation Big Bear at the northern sky , an estimated 267 million light-years of the Milky Way is removed.

Halton Arp organized his catalog of unusual galaxies into groups according to purely morphological criteria. This galaxy belongs to the class of galaxies with amorphous spiral arms . The galaxy has two companion galaxies ( SDSS J115113.47 + 550659.3 & SDSS J115059.24 + 550413.6 ).

The object was discovered by William Herschel on April 14, 1789 and is listed in the New General Catalog .
