Assesse is a municipality in the province of Namur in the Walloon part of Belgium .

It consists of the districts of Assesse , Courrière , Crupet , Florée, Maillen , Sart-Bernard and Sorinne-la-Longue .

Attractions

In the district of Crupet is the grotto in honor of St. Anthony of Padua . It was opened on July 12, 1903. Inside there are 22 statues depicting scenes from the life of Saint Anthony. Also in the village is the Château de Crupet , which is known far beyond the borders .
