Sambreville is a Belgian municipality in the Namur arrondissement of the province of the same name in Wallonia and is located on the Sambre River , which flows into the Meuse near Namur .

The municipality consists of the localities Arsimont, Auvelais, Falisolle, Keumiée, Moignelée, Tamines and Velaine.

The Tamines massacre occurred in Tamines during the First World War .
