Gesves ( pronunciation : [ ʒɛːv ]) is a municipality in the province of Namur in the Walloon part of Belgium .

In addition to Gesves, the municipality consists of the villages of Faulx-les-Tombes, Haltinne, Mozet and Sorée .

In the Goyet hamlet , which belongs to Mozet, numerous bones and tools of Neanderthals were discovered in the Goyet caves .
