The Autohaus Kath GmbH (proper name Kath Group ) is a ten car dealerships comprehensive Autohandels- and workshop company based in the Schleswig-Holstein town of Rendsburg .

The Kath car dealership operates dealerships in Bordesholm , Flensburg , Hamburg , Henstedt-Ulzburg , Heide , Husum , Kaltenkirchen , Kiel , Rendsburg and Preetz . Volkswagen , Škoda and Seat vehicles are sold there. Until 2011, new Audi cars were part of the brand portfolio. The contract was terminated by Audi due to alleged breaches of contract.

With 11,200 vehicles sold (6,700 new vehicles and 4,500 used vehicles), the Kath Group came in 29th of the 100 largest new vehicle dealer groups in Germany in 2011. With 9,500 vehicles sold, the company was one of the most successful automotive dealer groups in Germany in 2011.

history

With a Flensburg car dealership, the Kath parent company increased the size of the company for the first time in 2001. Since April 19, 2002 the company name was Kath Autohaus GmbH & Co. KG . In Hamburg and Husum, two more companies were bought in 2002 and 2004. In 2008, two insolvent car dealerships in Kiel and Preetz and a little later their parent company in Bordesholm were bought up. In 2010, the Kath Group took over two insolvent car dealerships in Kaltenkirchen and Henstedt-Ulzburg.

Since January 2015, the Kath Group has been part of the Emil Frey Group Germany as Autohaus Kath GmbH .

Sponsorship

The Catholic group is the main sponsor of the volleyball women's team of Kiel TV , in the Third Volleyball League of Women plays. She also supports three representatives of the current Schleswig-Holstein league as well as TuS Dassendorf and SV Curslack-Neuengamme from the Hamburg league in football with Flensburg 08 , TSV Schilksee and TSV Bordesholm .

In addition to sports sponsorship, the Kath Group participates as a partner and sponsor of major events. This includes the SH Netz Cup held annually in Rendsburg , for which the company organizes the athlete and VIP shuttle service.
