Béla Anda
Béla Nikolai Anda (born April 4, 1963 in Bonn ) is a German communications manager and journalist . At the time of the red-green coalition, he was government spokesman and head of the federal press office from 2002 to 2005 . From August 2012 to November 2015 he was deputy editor-in-chief of the Bild newspaper . Today Anda runs her own PR company.
Life and education
Anda was born as the son of the Hungarian nutritionist Dr. László Anda (†) and the teacher Renate Anda, b. Schulte, born. After graduating from high school and training as a reserve officer (lieutenant of the reserve) in Panzer Reconnaissance Battalion 3 in Lüneburg, Anda completed a traineeship at Welt am Sonntag in 1984 , where he worked as a policy editor until 1986. The subsequent study of political science at the Otto Suhr Institute of the Free University of Berlin and at the London School of Economics concluded the Erasmus -Stipendiat from the 1991st He then held various positions at Bild-Zeitung until 1998 .
Professional career
The non-party Anda was appointed deputy government spokesman under Uwe-Karsten Heye after the red-green coalition under Federal Chancellor Gerhard Schröder took over the government . After the re-election of the government coalition, Heye was put into temporary retirement and Anda, meanwhile a member of the SPD , was appointed government spokesman and head of the federal press office in October 2002. In his function, he supported the Agenda 2010 initiated by Gerhard Schröder communicatively. After Angela Merkel's election as Federal Chancellor, she appointed Ulrich Wilhelm as the new government spokesman and head of the Federal Government's Press and Information Office at the end of November 2005 . Anda has been put into temporary retirement .
In April 2006, the former State Secretary took over the press, marketing and sponsoring departments as Chief Communications Officer at the financial services provider AWD . In this function he was also responsible for sponsoring Hannover 96 and the then AWD Arena. AWD boss Carsten Maschmeyer is considered a friend of Gerhard Schröder and supported him in the 1998 election campaign with large advertisements in all Lower Saxony daily newspapers. From 2007 to 2008, Béla Anda also worked as a columnist for the political magazine Cicero and wrote articles on the topics of economy, culture and politics.
On August 1, 2012, Béla Anda became deputy editor-in-chief of the Bild newspaper, where he established the Bild newsletter and was responsible for merging the editorial departments of Bild Politik, Bild Capital Office, Bild Wirtschaft and Bild Online Politik. On November 13, 2015, the Axel-Springer-Verlag announced that Béla Anda is leaving the Bild-Zeitung in order to devote himself to new tasks in the private sector. Nikolaus Blome was his successor .
Béla Anda has been running his own PR agency since 2016.
Awards
For his services to the Franco-German friendship, Béla Anda was personally awarded Knight of the Legion of Honor ("Chevalier de la Legion d Honneur") by the then French President Jacques Chirac in 2005. For the communication of Agenda 2010 Anda was voted “PR Man of the Year” by PRREPORT magazine in 2003.
Private
Béla Anda is the father of four sons. His ex-father-in-law is the former Hamburg Senator for the Interior and former Lufthansa CEO Heinz Ruhnau . Béla Anda has been married to Ina Tenz for the second time since 2013.
