BJ Britt (born April 20, 1982 in Wilson , North Carolina ) is an American actor . He became famous for his roles in the series Being Mary Jane and Marvel's Agents of SHIELD .

life and career

BJ Britt was born in Wilson, North Carolina, as one of three children. For the first time he stood in 2003 for an appearance in the television documentary FBI - Dem Verbrechen on the trail . That same year he was cast in a guest role on the One Tree Hill series . In 2009 he took another role on the series as Devon Fox . In the meantime he has appeared in Veronica Mars , One on One , Raven looks through , Lincoln Heights , CSI: Miami , Cold Case - No victim is ever forgotten and everyone hates Chris in guest roles. In 2006 he also appeared in supporting roles in the sports drama Peaceful Warrior and in the film drama Heavens Fall .

He then took on the leading role of Apolain / Hermann in the German science fiction film Transfer by director Damir Lukačević . Together with his colleague Regine Nehy , he recorded his texts in English. In the final German version, it was then dubbed by Markus Pfeiffer . After guest appearances in the Vampire Diaries , Bones , Nikita , Prime Suspect , Grimm , Sons of Anarchy and Raising Hope , he was cast as Paul Patterson, Jr. in one of the leading roles in the series Being Mary Jane from 2013 , which he up to a whole 2019 represented. From 2014 to 2017 Britt appeared in a supporting role as Antoine Triplett in the series Marvel's Agents of SHIELD . In 2016 he was seen as Darius Beck in a recurring role at the beginning of the second season of UnREAL . He also appeared in a small role in Pitch .
