Baclayon is a municipality in the Bohol Province of the Philippines . It is located in the eastern part of the island of Bohol, 7 km from the provincial capital Tagbilaran , and also includes the small island of Pamilacan . The community, which has a population of 20,591 (August 1, 2015 census), was founded in 1595 by two Jesuits . The oldest stone church in the Philippines is worth seeing.
