Candijay is a Philippine municipality in the province of Bohol . It has 29,475 inhabitants (August 1, 2015 census). The Cogtong Bay stretches along the coast, with extensive mangrove forests and tidal flats on its coastline . The Tagaytay Reef and the islands of Katiil, Tabongdio, and Calanggaman lie in front of the community in the waters of the Canigao Canal .
