The 1994 Bank of the West Classic was a women's tennis tournament in Oakland, California . It was part of the 1994 WTA Tour and took place from October 31 to November 6, 1994. The final was played by the Americans Martina Navrátilová and Arantxa Sánchez Vicario , which the Spaniard won in three hard-fought sets. For Navrátilová it was the last individual final of her career. Sánchez Vicario was also successful in doubles alongside the American Lindsay Davenport .
