Batıayaz ( Kurdish : Mûran ) is a village in the Yayladere district of the Turkish province of Bingöl . Batıayaz is located about 7 km southeast of the district capital Yayladere. The village is located at 1508 m above sea level, not far from the Özlüce dam .

The Kurdish name was recorded in the land register in the form "Murun".
