Dalbasan ( Kurdish Seter ) is a village in the Yayladere district of the Turkish province of Bingöl . Dalbasan is located in a mountain region at 1,360 m above sea ​​level , on the border with the province of Tunceli , south of the Sülbüs mountain . The Seter brook flows through the village. In Dalbasan there is a small pilgrimage site ( ziyaret ) called Çeldergus. Dalbasan is the largest village in the county and consisted of around 170 households. According to an update at the end of 2010, the village still had a total of 50 inhabitants. Many of Dalbasan's residents have emigrated to Germany and Europe. The number of inhabitants fluctuates depending on the season. Many former residents spend their summer vacation in Dalbasan.

Zaza is the main language spoken in Dalbasan . The name "Seter" was added to the land register and used as an alternative name in the 1965 and 1980 censuses.

There is a gendarmerie barracks near Dalbasan , which was also the target of the PKK . In the first decade of the 21st century there were repeated clashes between the PKK and the security forces in Dalbasan and the surrounding area.
