With the establishment of the city of Wuppertal in 1929, the southern part of Dönberg, located on the border with Elberfeld, became the new city, the rest was incorporated into the municipality in 1975. Since then, the entire area of ​​the former farmers has belonged to the Dönberg district of Wuppertal .
