Beatrice Gleicher born Pavlik (born April 18, 1957 in Dillenburg ) is a German theater actress , singer , author and producer .

Life

Beatrice Gleicher is the daughter of Walter Pavlik from Karlsbad and Elisabeth Witter from Munich . Her father was an engineer and later a director at Olivetti in Vienna . She grew up in Germany until the family moved to Vienna in 1965, where she attended school and graduated from the Realgymnasium . She received piano lessons and ballet lessons from Grete Führer. From 1965 to 1968 she was a ballet teacher at the Volksoper Vienna , where she took on small roles, and in 1967 at the Volkstheater a small speaking role in Zu Ebener Erde and on the first floor by Johann Nestroy . At the age of 15 she received private singing lessons. A little later, she completed a degree in singing and piano at the Conservatory of the City of Vienna , ballet training and training as a ballet pedagogue with a diploma (1977) and training as a musical performer with Robert Werner with the completion of the stage entrance examination (1979).

Numerous stage engagements and tours under the name Beatrice Pavlik followed. Among other things, she took part in the performance of the musical theater piece Mass by Leonard Bernstein at the Vienna State Opera in 1982 and performed at the Raimundtheater a . a. in Where the lark sings by Franz Lehár . Tours with operettas and Viennese songs led to Japan , Korea , Thailand and Indonesia between 1984 and 1987 . In 1987 she founded the "Art Nouveau Ensemble de Vienne" with which she a. a. in Sicily (1988) Munich (1989) and in the newly opened Palm House in Schönbrunn Palace Park (1990). She had other engagements u. a. at the Chamber Opera Schönbrunn, at the Stadttheater Baden , Stadttheater St. Pölten , in Zurich ( Cats 1992). She sang u. a. Adele in Die Fledermaus und Arsena im Zigeunerbaron as well as in Wiener Blut by Johann Strauss , Boccaccio by Franz von Suppè , and in Clivia by Nico Dostal .

In addition to her stage engagements, Beatrice Gleicher worked as a voice actress. Among other things, she lent her voice to Lilo from Thomas Brezina's Knickerbockerbande .

In 1992 she married the pediatrician Michael Gleicher and took his name. As a mother of five children, she stopped working on the stage for the time being and trained as an osteopath in 1995 . In 1997 she opened a group practice with her husband.

In 2012 she returned to the stage with her own plays and completed music programs at the Die Tribüne theater in Vienna (2012–2014) and at the Theater im Schaufenster Wien, including musical and jazz programs. In 2015 she played in the musical comedy "Who invented the evergreen", for which she wrote the text. She presented her musical program “ Your is my whole heart ” at the Theater Die Tribüne Wien, in Lörrach and at the Freie Bühne Wieden in Vienna (2014–2015). Also in 2015 she founded the theater association Kunstspielerei, which staged its first production Berta Zuckerkandl : Welcome to my salon , a play produced and written by Gleicher in 2016 . In 2018 the play blueberry pirogue was premiered in the Klimt Villa in Vienna. In 2019, Gleicher took part in conversations in the Herrenhof, the world premiere of the play Arrival Today Hedy Lamarr with text and conception by Gleicher was premiered in Palais Schönburg .

Same wrote her first book Zloczów in 2007 , what now? under the pseudonym "Else Reif", which appeared in a revised version with the new title "Im Schatten der Kornblume" in 2018, as well as other books and plays.
