The Roman Catholic Diocese of Ales-Terralba ( lat. Dioecesis Uxellensis-Terralbensis , ital. Diocese of Ales-Terralba ) is an on Sardinia located diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in Italy , based in Ales .

It belongs to the ecclesiastical province of Oristano in the ecclesiastical region of Sardinia and is a suffragan diocese of the Archdiocese of Oristano .

history

The diocese of Ales was founded in the 7th century, the diocese of Terralba in the 12th century. On December 8, 1503, the two dioceses were united.
