Ales , the capital of the Marmilla , is a municipality in the province of Oristano in Sardinia in Italy with 1366 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019).
Location and dates
Ales lies at the foot of Monte Arci , a volcanic cone. This region has always played a crucial role in the Marmilla economy. Ales was once the smallest town with a bishopric in Italy.
