Albagiara is a small Sardinian village with 250 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Oristano .

The village lies at the foot of the "Giara di Gesturi", a plateau . The neighboring communities are Ales , Assolo , Genoni ( NU ), Gonnosnò , Mogorella , Usellus , Villa Sant'Antonio .

Albagiara became known for its olive and almond plantations , from which amaretti, gateau and gueffus are made for special festivals.
