Assolo is a Sardinian municipality with 353 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Oristano . Neighboring municipalities are Albagiara , Genoni , Nureci , Senis and Villa Sant'Antonio .

The village lies at the foot of the Marmilla plateau. The waterfalls of Sa caddaia and 25 Bronze Age nuraghi are well worth seeing .
