Scano di Montiferro is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1461 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Oristano in Sardinia . The municipality is located about 34 km north of Oristano and borders directly on the province of Nuoro . The Rio Marviu flows through the municipality .

The giant grave of Pedras Doladas is located on the eponymous hill, about 1.5 km east of Scano di Montiferro.
