Cuglieri is an Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2548 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Oristano in Sardinia . The municipality is located about 31 kilometers north of Oristano on Monte Ferru .

history

As one of the most important archaeological sites, the municipality already shows ancient settlements. It is the Punic settlement of Cornus , which, with Hampsicora, produced a Carthaginian leader who started the uprising against Rome around 215 BC. Led.
