Aidomaggiore is a Sardinian village with 497 inhabitants in the province of Oristano .

Aidomaggiore is located in the historic area of Barigadu , which consists largely of forests. The neighboring municipalities are Borore ( NU ), Dualchi (NU), Ghilarza , Norbello , Sedilo and Soddì .

It is known for “Sa Cointrozza”, a traditional dance that is played during Carnival time. The Lake Omodeo is located nearby and is destination of leisure seekers and tourists.
