Baratili San Pietro is an Italian municipality in the province of Oristano in the region of Sardinia with 1262 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019). It is located 12 km north of the provincial capital Oristano and 108 km northwest of Cagliari .

The sagra della vernaccia (Vernaccia Festival) is celebrated in Baratili every August . The Vernaccia is a dessert wine , which is made from grape vine same and accumulated after years of storage with brandy. A pomace brandy called Acquavite di Vinaccia or Filu 'e ferru , which has at least 40 percent alcohol by volume, is also distilled from the grapes in Baratili .
