The Archdiocese of Oristano ( Latin : Archidioecesis Arborensis , Italian : Arcidiocesi di Oristano ) is a diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in Italy located in Sardinia . The bishopric is in Oristano .

It is the metropolitan diocese of the ecclesiastical province of Oristano in the church region of Sardinia , its only suffragan of the diocese of Ales-Terralba .

history

The Oristano diocese dates back to the 11th century. The current archbishop is Roberto Carboni OFMConv .
