The Roman Catholic Diocese of Ciudad Quesada ( Latin Dioecesis Civitatis Quesadensis , Spanish diócesis de Ciudad Quesada ) is one in Costa Rica situated Roman Catholic diocese , based in Ciudad Quesada .
history
The Diocese of Ciudad Quesada was established on July 25, 1995 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Maiori Christifidelium from cedings of the dioceses of Alajuela and Tilarán and subordinated to the Archdiocese of San José de Costa Rica as a suffragan diocese.
