The Diocese of Siuna ( Latin Dioecesis Siunaënsis , Spanish diócesis de Siuna ) is in Nicaragua located Roman Catholic diocese based in Siuna . It includes the autonomous region of Costa Caribe Norte .

history

The diocese of Siuna was established on November 30, 2017 by Pope Francis from cession of territory from the Apostolic Vicariate Bluefields and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Managua as a suffragan diocese. The first bishop was David Albin Zywiec Sidor, OFMCap .
