Brønderslev Kommune is a Danish municipality in northern Jutland . It was created on January 1, 2007 in the course of local government reform by merging the "old" Brønderslev municipality with the previous municipality of Dronninglund in the Nordjyllands Amt . The municipality was founded as Brønderslev-Dronninglund Kommune , but changed its name to Brønderslev Kommune on January 18, 2007.
Brønderslev Municipality has a total population of 36,304 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020) and an area of 633.00 km². It is part of the Nordjylland region .
