history

It is written about the town of Broich: After that, a water mill appears to have been operated in what is now the Broich district. In earlier years there was still a “traffic jam” near the Hemshorn house; the brook has got lost, the brook bed can still be partially recognized. At today's beaver farm , the water of the former "Brunbeek" is dammed and formed a small pond . The name “Roßweiher, Roßweide” probably stems from the fact that the horses of Tüschenbroich Castle had their watering or washing machine there .
