Isengraben is a district of the Mittelstadt Wegberg in the district of Heinsberg in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia .

geography

Isengraben is located southeast of Wegberg on Landstrasse 46.

Coming from Erkelenz, the Beeckbach flows east past the Isengraben locality and flows into the Schwalm in Wegberg. With the renaturation of the Beeckbach and the construction of retention basins , the flood risk for Isengraben and the neighboring places has been greatly improved.

Infrastructure

In July 2011 286 people lived in Isengraben. There are two horse farms, as well as an inn and a few small businesses. The place is rural in a quiet location with no through traffic. A bus stop provides connections to Erkelenz and Wegberg.
