Venheyde is a district of the Mittelstadt Wegberg in the district of Heinsberg in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia .

history

Venheyde is located northeast of Merbeck and used to belong to the parish Niederkrüchten and until 1971 with Merbeck also to the civil parish of Niederkrüchten. Venheyde has been part of the Merbeck parish since 1819.

Infrastructure

In June 2011 there were 44 people living in Venheyde. There is a farm here as well as a horse farm and small businesses. A bus and school bus stop provides connections to the schools as well as to the cities of Wegberg, Erkelenz and Mönchengladbach .
