Brooke Bloom (* in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actress .

life and career

Brooke Bloom has been an actress since 1999. She took her first role in a guest appearance on the series Chicago Hope . This was followed by appearances in Emergency Room - The Emergency Room , Felicity , Buffy - The Vampire Slayer and City of Angels . In 2000 she took on a supporting role in the romcom Forever Lulu .

This was followed by series appearances in Cold Case - No Victim Is Ever Forgotten , New York Cops - NYPD Blue , Everwood , Without a Trace - Vanished Without A Trace , In Justice , Marriage Is ... and Law & Order . From 2004 to 2009 she appeared in the series CSI: Miami in the role of Cynthia Wells . In 2006 she took on a supporting role as Jen in the slasher film All the Boys Love Mandy Lane . Also in the films The Solomon Brothers , Terra , Just About Her Corpse , He's Just Not Into You and Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close , she took on supporting roles. From 2013 to 2014 Bloom played the role of Julie Carrell on the short-lived sitcom Alpha House . In 2014 she took on the lead role as Ronah in the drama film She's Lost Control , which was nominated for two Independent Spirit Awards . She herself was named Best Actress at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival .

In 2016 she took on a supporting role in the Falling Water series . A year later she starred as Rebecca Rogers in the series Gypsy . She played a small role as Pam in the Homecoming series . In 2019 she took on a supporting role as Mary Ann in Noah Baumbach's critically acclaimed tragic comedy Marriage Story . In 2020 she took on a supporting role in the third season of the series The Sinner .

In addition to her appearances in films and series, Bloom is also regularly on the theater stage and has received a Drama Desk Award and the Obie Award , among other things .
