Bruno Chizzo (born April 19, 1916 in Udine , Italy , † August 14, 1969 ) was an Italian football player .
During his active career, he played as an attacking midfielder or half-forward .
Career
Bruno Chizzo began his professional career in his hometown with Udinese Calcio . He then played for US Triestina , AC Milan and CFC Genoa, among others .
In 1938 he was appointed to the squad of the Italian national team for the World Cup in France by national coach Vittorio Pozzo . Although Chizzo did not play a single international match in his career, he became world champion with the Italians' 4-2 win in the final against Hungary .
