Bryan Adams (born March 20, 1977 in Fort St. James , British Columbia ) is a former Canadian ice hockey player who last played until 2013 for EHC Red Bull Munich in the German Ice Hockey League .
Career
The left winger began his career in 1994 with Prince George Spruce Kings, while studying science from 1995 to 1999 he was on the ice for the Michigan State University team in the NCAA game operations .
After four years, the left shooter switched to professional sports, where he first played for the Orlando Solar Bears . During the 1999/2000 season , however, the Canadian was called twice to the roster of NHL cooperation partner Atlanta Thrashers , although he had not previously been selected in any NHL Entry Draft . Another year in the lower class International Hockey League followed, but the attacker also appeared nine times in the NHL. From 2001 to 2003 Adams played in the American Hockey League for the Chicago Wolves , with whom he - together with his former Cologne teammate Kamil Piroš - won the Calder Cup . For the next season the striker signed a contract with league rivals Grand Rapids Griffins .
For the 2003/04 season Bryan Adams was obliged by the Iserlohn Roosters from the German Ice Hockey League , of which he was appointed team captain in 2004. Since the Canadians along with the NHL player Mike York studied at Michigan State University, the Roosters York in could Lockout - 2004/05 commit. In the 2006/07 season , Adams followed his trainer and two other roosters to the Kölner Haien , with whom he signed until 2009. After missing the play-offs, he signed a new annual performance-related contract. After the end of the 2009/10 season, he moved to the DEL promoted EHC Munich .
Bryan Adams has been married to his wife Nisha since 2004, with whom he has one child.
