Bundestag constituency Märkischer Kreis I

The Bundestag constituency of Märkischer Kreis I was a constituency in North Rhine-Westphalia from 1980 to 2002 . It comprised the northern part of the Märkisches Kreis with the communities of Iserlohn , Balve , Hemer , Menden (Sauerland) , Nachrodt-Wiblingwerde and Neuenrade . All municipalities in the constituency have belonged to the Märkischer Kreis II constituency since 2002 . The constituency was last won directly by Dagmar Freitag ( SPD ).

The predecessor constituencies with similar area circumference were from 1949 to 1965 the constituency Iserlohn City and place of birth , and from 1965 to 1980 the constituency Iserlohn .
