Bundestag constituency Saarbrücken II

The Bundestag constituency Saarbrücken II was a constituency in Saarland from 1976 to 2002 . Most recently it comprised the municipalities of Heusweiler , Friedrichsthal , Qui Various , Sulzbach / Saar , Großrosseln , Püttlingen , Riegelsberg and Völklingen from the Saarbrücken city association and the municipalities of Bous , Ensdorf , Schwalbach and Wadgassen from the Saarlouis district . From 1957 to 1976 the constituency was called Saarbrücken-Land .

In the 2002 federal election , Saarland lost one constituency. The Saarbrücken II constituency was dissolved and its area was divided between the four remaining Saarland constituencies Saarbrücken , Saarlouis , Homburg and St. Wendel . The constituency was last won by Jutta Müller ( SPD ).
