Bunnell is a city and also the county seat of Flagler County in the US state of Florida with 2676 inhabitants (as of 2010).

Bunnell is directly adjacent to the city of Palm Coast and is approximately 90 km south of Jacksonville .
Demographic data
According to the 2010 census, the then 2676 inhabitants were distributed over 1354 households. The population density was 221.2 inh / km². 63.1% of the population identified themselves as white , 31.9% as African American , 0.6% as Native American and 0.3% as Asian Americans . 1.1% said they belonged to another ethnic group and 3.1% to several ethnic groups. 5.4% of the population was Hispanic or Latino .
In 2010 children under 18 years of age and 31.8% of all households lived in 29.8% of all households with persons at least 65 years of age. 56.2% of households were family households (consisting of married couples with or without offspring or one parent with offspring). The average household size was 2.25 and the average family size was 2.95.
25.4% of the population were younger than 20 years, 24.3% were 20 to 39 years old, 25.8% were 40 to 59 years old, and 24.6% were at least 60 years old. The mean age was 40 years. 48.0% of the population were male and 52.0% were female.
The median annual income was $ 22,057, with 32.5% of the population living below the poverty line.
In 2000, English was the first language of 96.67% of the population and 3.33% spoke Spanish .

traffic
Bunnell is crossed by US Highway 1 ( SR 5 ) and Florida State Roads 11 and 20 . The Florida East Coast Railway's freight line also crosses the city. The nearest airport is Daytona Beach International Airport (around 30 km south).

The crime rate in 2010 was 587 points (US average: 266 points) in the high range. There was one rape, six robberies, 41 assaults, 27 break-ins, 97 thefts and 33 car thefts.
