The castle Glimendal is an Outbound hilltop castle about 250 meters northeast of Eltville - Martinsthal in the Rheingau , the output of a side of Walluf . The castle was first mentioned in 1263; the noble family Glimme was mentioned in 1226. More details about the castle complex are unknown. Today there are only a few remains of moats at the Burgstall . It is believed that it was a permanent house .
