CIB Egyptian Squash Open 2019

The CIB Egyptian Squash Open 2019 took place from October 25 to November 1, 2019 in the Egyptian capital Cairo . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2019/20 and belonged to the PSA World Tour Platinum category . At the same time, the women's world championship took place at the same location .

Last year's winner was Karim Abdel Gawad , who won the tournament again. In the final, he defeated world number one Ali Farag with 11: 6, 11: 8 and 11: 8.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 48 players. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Moustafa El Sirty and Yehia Elnawsany a spot in the main draw.

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. The amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 185,000.
