The COSAFA Cup 2019 , the men's soccer championship of Southern Africa , was to take place in Zimbabwe from May 19 to June 1, 2019 . Zimbabwe would have hosted for the second time since 2009, but gave back its right to host in February 2019. In April 2019 eThekwini ( Durban ) in South Africa was announced as the new venue . South Africa is the host for the third time in a row. The tournament took place from May 25th to June 8th, 2019. The Zambian national soccer team won the title for the fifth time.
It is organized by the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA).
